Much love to anyone still sticking around to keep up with my little story.  I appreciate the patience and encouragement.  As I mentioned in my last post, I'm done with school now and have a sane, normal person schedule.  Hoping to keep writing regularly.  And now on to the story:

Tin Angel - Chapter 9

So I'm not sure anyone is still listening but I've just finished the first half of a new chapter on Tin Angel after more than a year and a half hiatus. No one in my real life knows I have this little hobby, but I'm so excited to be writing again that I just had to say so somewhere!

If anyone is still out there and has actually not given up hope on updates, I apologize for being such a bad author. School and some really exciting travel opportunities put such intense demands on my time, that I had to step away, but I'm thrilled to be graduated, moved(again), employed and back to writing. I've got the first half of Ch. 9 done, and am working hard on the second half. If the words keep flowing, I hope to maybe, MAYBE have it posted some time tomorrow. I hope it will be worth the wait for anyone who tunes in, but mostly I'm just really excited to be back at the pen. Stay tuned...

Also, I've been trying to logon to AFF to update there as well, and I can't seem to figure out where to go to log in. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I feel so not smart right now : (

I know, I know, long time no update. It's been a long and exhausting summer, and I've found myself distracted by the contretemps of real life. I've spent most of my summer traveling, trying to deal with grief, disappointments and recovering a measure of my sanity. The vagabonding has been good for for me but left me little time or, sadly, inclination to write

However, I've only got one more trip scheduled for the last month of summer, and the writing bug has bit me again. I've written about half of a new chapter for Tin Angel in the last few days, so hopefully an update will be following soon. I'll keep you posted.

On a new note, I wanted to say to cheers to the authors who participated in the summer d/hr fic exchange. I had so many incredible pieces to read once I got back, and I was simply awed and inspired by the works you produced.

Also, if anyone is interested, I thought I'd share a link to an amazing artist, named Steffy, who does some amazing HP centered drawings. She's an H/Hr shipper, but her renderings of Hermione are so beautiful, and very similar to the way I have always seen her in my mind's eye. You can check out some of her work here:

Alright guys, so I thought after all the patient waiting you have endured, I would give you a little update on "Tin Angel" status right now. Today I am turning in the last paper I have due for the semester(yes, I am procrastinating right now) and then it is over and I can continue writing!!! I'm so excited. I've really, really missed my story.

Chapter 7 is partly written and I should be able to finish it soon (hopefully within a week and then a couple of days for editing.) As far as posting, last I heard, AFF was not back up, so I have alternative plans. First, upcoming chapters will continue to be posted to FF.net, edited for content as before. I have been slowly loading the chapters to Coloured Grey at Contra Veritas, so I will post the new chapter there, full content. If AFF can get their shizzit back together I will definately post there as well. Some people have requested that I add the chapter here on LJ, and I have decided that I will consider trying to do it if someone can teach me how to load it behind a link, the way Lilycat does.

Also I will send out notification of updates with location links to the old email list I gathered from AFF. If you know anyone wants a heads up, they are more than welcome to send me their email for the update list. Thanks for sticking with me and for being so patient. Glad to be back and looking forward to writing and reading more,

Yay!! After such a long and trying semester (three more weeks, three more weeks, three more weeks!) it was just so lovely to come home to an email announcing that people showed me some love over at the Dangerous Liaisons Awards!!!











I'm just over the moon with love for you all!!! Now I feel even more rotten for not updating.

SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY!!!!!!!!!!

You guys are so awesome, I lurve you all, and I feel absolutely rotten for not updating. School is insanity, I haven't been to my home for more than 5 hours in the last month and I haven't even logged into my yahoo or LJ for several weeks. I literally spend all my days researching, reading and consuming mass amounts of coffee before crashing into unconsciousness at boyfriend's house(its much nicer than mine and is a real house.)

On the bright side, I only have a few weeks of school left and then I will have four glorious months of slacking(i.e. summer break) to write lots and lots of chapters and regularly at that. I promise I haven't given up on Tin Angel, I love my story and I even have inklings for a new one to follow.

Thankyou to everyone who has left encouragement, gentle proddings and outright demands :) for updates, esp. oetbmalfoysmom for her lovely limericks. I will try to work some on the chapter tonight(though no promises for an update quite yet-sorry.)

Chapter 6 has been updated over at FF.net!!! Sorry all you AFF'ers, looks like Chapter 7 won't be up until sometime next weekend(unless grad school decides to be particularly cruel to me this week, and I have to put it off longer.) Feel free to use this as a forum to harrass me into writing faster(though please opt for acerbic humor over malicious abuse, if you do choose to beleaguer me for an update.)

Chapter 7 is well under way, and coming along nicely. I'm trying to write it linearly, which will hopefully aide the flow of the "conversation to be had." hehe-I'm so mean... Anyhow, I'm having fun writing this one, and I will let you know that you are going to get a bit more perspective on Bill.
